Dunedin Autos drive a business deal
to land enhanced CIS contract
Dunedin Autos Ltd have boosted their status as a small company with a big
reputation in the motor vehicle repair industry by retaining their contract with
the CIS General Insurance Company.
The Coatbridge company set up in 1986
by Alistair Clark and Francis Ferguson have been appointed a CIS approved
repairer to cover Lanarkshire and South Glasgow a contract that they
previously covered along with two national companies.
Director Francis
Ferguson said: Retaining this contract is a massive boost not only to our
business but also to our staff without whom this would not be possible. The new
deal will see a substantial increase in our business.
| Dunedin Autos Workshop | The assessment period was demanding and spanned more than six months,
with the key elements being customer satisfaction, quality of service and
repairs, and also environmental issues. But in the end, it was all
worthwhile.
We have made substantial investment over the years in
equipment, training and services and this has had a rewarding spin-off:
without that investment, we would not have been in the position to be considered
for contracts such as this.
He added: We are big enough to provide a
fully comprehensive service yet small enough to retain the personal touch which
was highlighted in a recent customer satisfaction survey in which we had a
rating of 97% - against an industry average of 54%.
Were both
hands-on and readily available to talk with customers and help them through
what can be a stressful time.
Dunedin Autos have been Chamber of
Commerce members for more than ten years, and were founder members of The 1700
Club, Lanarkshires first Chamber-led Business Breakfast Networking
Club.
Both Alistair and Francis were office-bearers and have played
active roles in this Club while working with other leading businesses locally to
make The 1700 Club one of the most successful Networking Groups in the
country. Website: www.dunedinautos.com
