Founder Member signs up for Chamber Partner Plan
A founder member of The 1700 Business Networking Club has become the first
North Lanarkshire business to sign up for the prestigious Lanarkshire Chamber of
Commerce Partner Plan.
Malcolm Southern who heads up Southern
Financial Services, a firm of Independent Financial Advisers/Mortgage
Brokers has had a lengthy and varied association with the Chamber movement
locally spanning more than 12 years.
He was President of the former
Motherwell and District Chamber and chaired the informal Lanarkshire Chambers
Group which led to the formation of the Lanarkshire Chamber of Commerce six
years ago.
He has been a Director since its inception and became
President in 2003.
The aim of the Partner Plan is two-fold:

company's Partner Plan Framed Certificate.
| - to offer larger companies additional services and value-add opportunities,
and create managed opportunities for members to engage with potential
customers.
- to provide members with access to local and national political figures and
key policy bodies, and work with the Chamber on shared objectives.
Chamber President Maurice Logie said: Its a great pleasure to welcome our
latest recruit to the Chamber Partner Plan, especially in view of Malcolms
lengthy and known commitment to the Chamber movement, not only in Lanarkshire
but across Scotland.
As the Chambers status as The Voice of Local
Business in Lanarkshire is continually being enhanced, we are finding larger
companies want to become more visibly associated with the Chamber, and this
Partner Plan enables a stronger bond to be created.
Companies currently
members of the Partner Plan are Bank of Scotland, Rolls-Royce, Philips,
University of the West of Scotland, Moviecom.tv., and now Southern Financial
Services. Website: www.southernfinancialservices.com
